Young Adults Love Vampire Romance Novels



It seems that over the past few years young adults have found themselves devouring the hot teen series, Twilight. And often the first question they have after they finish the series is "what other vampire romance books for teens are available?". Because they want to read more. 


Teens like these Vampire books because they are romantic and paranormal which makes them different then most books are out on the market. And also, there is something about the "bad boy" or that taboo relationship that is sort of exciting to teens. I think more then anything else, though it gives young adults a chance to escape into a fantasy world just for a short time. I mean there is nothing like loosing yourself in a good book.



As a parent, I'm just glad and impressed that the young adults in my household are eagerly reading. Now, I'm not a teen, but I have to say I read Twilight myself and I've also read most of the book series listed on this page. Us older girls love good vampire romance novels too.

Black Dagger Brotherhood by J. R. Ward is probably the most popular Adult Vampire Series. I can tell you it was one of my favorites. I started reading them last year and purchased each book one at a time. I noticed that there is a really nice Black Dagger Boxed set for those who want to read the entire series. This boxed set includes the first 6 books in the series. This Boxed Set would also make the perfect gif for anyone who enjoys paranormal romance.

Immortals After Dark Series

So I finally have been able to start the Immortals After Dark Series by Kresley Cole. So far I am about halfway into the first full length book, A Hunger Like No Other and wow is it steamy. Yes there is lots of romance but there is also some good action. There are a few bloody scenes. I am really enjoying it. I think I will stick through this series through the end. So I'll keep you posted on what I think. But in the mean time, I highly recommend this series to anyone who enjoys paranormal or vampire romance books.

The Black Dagger Brotherhood is probably the most popular of all the Adult Vampire Book series on the market. And like many JR Ward Fans, I have read every book twice! They are awesome! And I am very excited for book 9 in the series to be release on March 29th.


For those who read the series, we know that each book is about each of the brothers in the brotherhood. This is the first book that is about a woman. Payne is about the twin sister of Vishous. After she suffers a devastating injury she meets Dr. Manuel Manello who was drafted by the brotherhood to save her. What will happen when their two worlds collide? I can't wait to find out.
